Tom McGehee: Biography

Tom has been described as Jackson Pollock meets Paris Island. Tom is a unique blend of military precision and performance guided by an innovative and including spirit. He embodies what business needs today, the ability to create and innovate while meeting or exceeding operational commitments. His experience in the US Marines, large global corporations, entrepreneurial start-ups, and not-for-profit organizations has given him an exceptionally wide view of what it takes to maximize overall performance.

Tom has worked with hundreds of organizations and thousands of individuals, from every industry and with almost every business situation, to achieve greater accomplishments through results-based conversations.

Tom is a speaker and published author. He is also the founder and CEO of The WildWorks Group. Prior to starting WildWorks, Tom, was a Partner with Ernst and Young Consulting. There he began to develop his collaborative talents and process as he led their global strategy deployment.

Prior to Ernst & Young, Tom worked as a manufacturing consultant and as an account executive for EDS. Tom came to the corporate world after serving as an officer in the US Marines. While in the Marines, Tom performed duties at the White House, and security training at Camp David. He also commanded one of the Marines first Special Operations Capable Units.

Tom is a member of the SMU Cox Business Leadership Center and a Special Advisor on Innovation to the American Productivity and Quality Counsel.
